11 Oct How to Align With Your Higher Self & Attract Business Abundance
Someone once told me that the perspective you take in any situation ultimately determines the outcome. Those words stuck with me for years and unknowingly helped me develop a success mindset from a young age.
The hardest part of being an entrepreneur is acting as if you’ve already succeeded. Remembering that your blessings are on the way and knowing that hard work and consistency will pay off.
Future YOU is living the life you want, and the only way to connect with her is to align with your higher self.
Easier said than done, I know, but I”ve learned a few tricks along the way. Here are a few strategies I use to think like my higher self and attract prosperity into my life.
Step 1 – Acknowledge that you’re human.
Step one is to acknowledge that you are more than enough and you are perfectly made. You fail because you’re human, and that’s a beautiful thing. Accept the truth that to learn and improve as humans in this life… we must fail.
It’s a hard truth to swallow because as high-achievers and entrepreneurs, we’ve been made to think that we have to be superhuman. And WHEN we inevitably fail it causes us to stop chasing our dreams and passions and follow the safe path.
We repeat this cycle of shame and mediocrity all of our lives just because we didn’t succeed on the first try.
The only way to release yourself from that shame cycle is to denounce perfectionism and instead practice gratitude for the abundance that is all around you right now.
Step 2 – Know what you want.
I’ve coached hundreds of women and in the end, all they really want is clarity. They have no idea how much money they want, who their audience is, how their customers think, what life they want to live.
You can especially see this when we go through success calendaring exercises. I ask them to share with me what they want to achieve outside of work first. What adventures do they want to go on? What life do they want to holistically live? The funny part? No one really knows. They just know that they want something big.
How can you be successful when you don’t even know what you want?
Connect with your higher self and be specific about what you’re trying to accomplish. For example, if you’re starting a new business be specific about your why, the change you want to see in this world, your monthly and yearly income, your vacation goals, the staff you want to hire, etc.
You may not be there yet, but knowing those things dictates your decisions, and those little decisions direct you to your final destination.
Step 3 – Know that you have everything you need.
Before you go and get another certification, degree, or training, pause and take stock of your innate gifts and talents. Connect with your higher self by being aware and by conducting self-reflection.
You can do this by:
Embracing compliments from others.
Do you shrug off kind words from others? If so, it’s time to recognize that most of us don’t go out of our way to praise another unless we’re quite impressed with something they did. When you prosper, people take note of it and often comment about it. These comments are signs of your strengths. Accept them graciously and write them down. You’ll find that those compliments might be the key to understanding your next marketing strategy.
For example, I’ve been told for years that my social media captions evoke emotion and kindness. People say my profiles “give them good vibes” or “you just seemed like the right person”. I finally accepted that as my strength and made writing the pillar of my business.
Another example, I have a client who has been told over and over again that her voice is beautiful. She hated her voice even though every single person she met mentioned how soothing her voice was. When she finally embraced that and launched a podcast, it got over 10,000 downloads in its first 5 episodes.
Your higher self often speaks to you through others. Listen and take notes.
Conducting a personal inventory.
If you aren’t sure what your divine gifts and talents are, you may need to take personal inventory. Grab a piece of paper take stock of when you’ve been the most prosperous in your life.
- What are your major successes?
- What have you done well?
- What are you the proudest of?
Reminding yourself of your positive character traits.
Lastly, keep it real. Deep down you know exactly what you are good at and what your best features are. Don’t’ be shy, think through all the things you love about yourself and write them down. Now, look at that list and make the connection between what you love about yourself and the abundance you’ve already received in your life.
Step 4 -Recognize prosperity comes in all “flavors.”
Although money is a wonderful gift from the Universe, you can also prosper in so many other ways. You might get gifts and perks from your staff, partners, and more. You might be recognized in your field by getting an award. Perhaps you’ll become the “go-to” person whenever people are facing a challenge.
These non-monetary blessings have happened to me more than I can count, and many times they were stepping stones to more prosperity.
One that stands out personally, was being chosen to be on the Google Small Business Advisory Board, handpicked out of thousands of prospects to mentor small business with the Google SMB team. That one random and non-monetary blessing has opened more doors than I ever thought possible.
Another example, one of my client’s products were shouted out randomly by Beyoncé, the Queen B herself, and added to a list of her favorite must-haves. This allowed her wholesalers to push and promote her products with Queen B’s seal of approval.
You just never know when the prosperity will arise.
Step 5- Take back the power you have over your own life.
You are in charge here. I know it may seem like you are just “living”, but your thoughts and actions matter. Life and business are just the cumulative of your small decisions.
When you take responsibility to traverse life’s challenges on your own terms, you’ll truly feel your own strength. Bottom line: You will prosper when you step up and make the decision to prosper.
So, prepare your mindset for prosperity by thinking and acting like your higher self. Do that and you’ll live the prosperous life and business of your dreams!
Step 6 – Get help by hiring a success coach
I know the strategies here are easier said than done. I’ve worked on my success mindset and business every day for over 16 years. I’ve learned lived these lessons and I am still learning them.
And it’s not just me and you.
The majority of the women entrepreneurs I speak to need clarity, permission, and a set of mental tools to get them to success.
That’s the core of what a business success coach does. I remind you that success is 80% mindset and 20% hard work doing the right things.
I remind you that hustling harder is NOT the way to go. That there is a better way to do things based on your zone of genius and divine talents.
A success coach’s job is to understand where you are right now and where you want to be and use success mindset tools (like the Law of Attraction, Psychology, and Science) to help you get out of your own way, raise your vibration, and empower your success in life and business.
I’m Tierra, a success and productivity coach for women entrepreneurs. I help you discover your profitable passion, cultivate success, and manifest abundance from the comfort of your home.
